At the next event, kids build a bulletin board, while learning about  tool safety.

The  workshops are August 4,  9 a.m. to noon, and other first Saturdays of the month.

The activities are designed for youngsters ages 5 to 12.

The first Thursday of each month, the Orlando Museum of Art showcases a new theme of art by local artists accompanied by live music, cash bar and café with selections by area restaurants. The contemporary art show on August 2 features cats, cats and more cats. Meow!
