For a while, Amazon Student members receive free two-day shipping, a perk of Amazon Prime, on eligible purchases.
Amazon Student, which also features discounts for members, is offered to college and university students with a valid .edu email address.
After the temporary free access to Amazon Prime free two-day shipping benefits, students receive more Amazon Prime benefits for a fee, unless they opt out of the Amazon Prime subscription.
