Free projects for youngsters are offered at participating Home Depot stores.
The free hands-on workshop at participating stores July 7 is building a toy Penske truck. The workshops are offered 9 a.m. to noon, usually the first Saturdays of the month.
The activities are designed for youngsters ages 5 to 12, and include information about tool safety.
