The Orlando Fringe Festival has returned for another round of unique cultural experiences, May 16-28, 2012. The 13-day festival is 100% unjuried, 100% uncensored, 100% accessible theatre, music, dance and art for all, and 100% of the ticket sales go directly to the artists. Tickets are only $7-$11 each. You must also purchase a Fringe button, which is one-time fee of $8. Check out the Orlando Fringe Festival schedule.
The Fringe is held in beautiful Loch Haven Park, just north of downtown Orlando, at Princeton St. and Mills Ave. The shows are in various theaters at The Lowndes Shakespeare Center (812 E. Rollins Street), The Orlando REP (1001 E. Princeton Street), and KID’S FRINGE is held at Mennello Museum (900 E. Princeton Street).
For a free experience, spend a day on the Grand Green Lawn where you can grab a bite to eat and see live entertainment on the Outdoor Stage. Bring cash for food vendors and the beer tent.
