Summer Movie ExpressWhen school’s out, there’s nothing better than a morning at the movies to keep the kids entertained. Regal Entertainment Group has scheduled nine weeks of family-friendly movies at select theaters. During Summer Movie Express, selected G- or PG-rated movies start at 10 a.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday morning. The starting dates are either June 4 or June 11 depending on the theater closest to you. Tickets are just $1.

First-come, first-served seating is limited to theater’s capacity. Tickets are available only at the theater box office on the day of the show.

Many of the best professional golfers in the world will converge in Orlando for Arnold Palmer’s Invitational at the Bay Hill Club & Lodge. A one-day ticket for the tournament starts at $47, a Practice Pro-Am 3-day ticket is $40 and youth tickets are $15 for kids ages 13 to 17. Kids under 12 get in free with a paid adult ticket. There are a variety of special event days to help you experience the tournament for less.

Students get in free with a valid college ID (grounds access only) on Saturday, March 23, 2013.

Publix Youth Day

All kids under 17 get in free with a paid adult on Monday, March 18, 2013.

Honoring Our Military
Anyone with an active military ID receives any one-day ticket.

Jump start the holiday season with a dose of lights, Christmas trees, sparkling decorations and live music at Orlando Museum of Art’s 26th Annual Festival of Trees. This year’s theme, “Once Upon a Time…A Fairy Tale Festival,” incorporates whimsy from favorite fairy tales.

Seniors can save $1 on admission if visiting on November 14. Many special activities are planned, check out the website for more details. Santa will visit on November 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Soaked Orlando Festival makes a splash this weekend, September 7 and 8, with performances by world-champion water skiers, wake boarders and nighttime jumping competitions.
