A colorful array of art will fill the quaint downtown streets of Mount Dora February 2-3, 2013. Mount Dora’s annual Art Festival is one the best and biggest festivals in the area attracting more than 285 artists from around the world. Stroll through the festival, grab lunch at a local restaurant and soak up the views of Lake Dora. This is a very popular event, so get there early to find parking.

Orlando Farmers Market at Lake Eola Park is one of my favorite places to go on a beautiful Sunday. Stroll through vendor’s displays of fresh produce, flowers, plants and handmade goods. After an afternoon of shopping, relax under the shade in the beer and wine garden. The market is dog friendly, so bring along your pet for a walk around Lake Eola.

When: Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Central Boulevard and N. Eola Drive
