Barnes & NobleThis summer, Barnes & Noble want kids to go on an adventure without ever leaving their backyard or bedroom. All they need is a good book and a vivid imagination. Barnes & Noble’s Summer Reading Program rewards kids (grades 1 through 6) with a FREE book, after they’ve taken just eight literary adventures. Along with their parents, kids keep track of the books they’ve read in their “Reading Journal.” (You can download a journal here.) Once it’s complete, young readers can take it to any participating location to pick out a well-deserved reward from a limited selection of children’s books. The program runs from May 21 to September 3. Don’t forget, the bookstore also offers a FREE Kids’ Club with rewards and special offers — all year-long.

paint

For a free quart of paint, here’s an offer valid at participating Ace Hardware stores.

The quarts are handed out March 9,  while limited supplies last. Some restrictions apply, such as one per household.

The offer  requires a coupon, which is featured on the Ace Hardware website.  The coupon asks you to  write your name, address and email for receiving information about Ace and for entering a sweepstakes.

The paint is Clark & Kensington flat enamel. The average supply at participating stores is  40  gallons. A store locator is featured on the website. It’s  a good idea to phone local shops to determine which are  participating.
