This Saturday, April 14, is the free BarCamp Orlando event
A BarCamp is not a place to learn to make cocktails (though you might learn that), but a collaborative day of seminars put on by members of the community. Most have a strong technology and new media component.
You don’t know until you get there who will speak, because the speaker schedule is organized on the day of the camp. Participants are encouraged to offer a 15-minute session themselves, though that’s not required.
The event will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Plaza, 189 South Orange Ave.
