HAMILTON is coming to the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando January 22 – February 10, 2019. If you didn’t end up snagging a ticket when they went on sale on Nov. 16, then there’s still a chance you can get lucky! There will be a Hamilton ticket lottery for forty $10 seats for all performances in Orlando.
Details on how the Hamilton ticket lottery in Orlando will work will be announced closer to the engagement. But here is how it was managed in other cities:
- Enter online or through the Hamilton app.
- The digital lottery opens up for entries at 11 a.m. two days prior to the performance.
- 40 winners (one single ticket per entry) are picked at random and notified via email.
- If you are selected, you’ll have until 4pm the day before the show to pay the $10 for your ticket.
HAMILTON is the story of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington’s right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway, HAMILTON is the story of America then, as told by America now.
