If you are like me, your Pinterest account is filled with great pins that you’ll never start. The Art & History Museums –Maitland (A&H) is giving women a platform to create some of those projects. On Friday, April 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Ladies’ Art Lounge features Projects from Pinterest.
Ladies’ Art Lounge is designed for women who want an evening out with friends where they can talk, have a glass of wine or a soft drink, and learn something new in a casual and fun atmosphere. Guests will create some of the most popular projects posted to social networking site Pinterest.com, including home décor projects, jewelry, artwork, and more. The A&H will provide the supplies; participants will provide the creativity to make these projects their own. After projects are complete, participants can upload photos of their creations to the social network of their choice.
Admission to Ladies’ Art Lounge is $20 for A&H members and $25 for not-yet-members. Pre-registration is required. A cash wine bar is available, and outside alcohol is not permitted. Packwood Avenue, Maitland.
