Experience artists in action during the St. John’s River Festival of the Arts on May 4 and 5, 2013. More than 100 regionally and nationally accredited fine artists will transform downtown Sanford into an interactive art event. Watch as a piece of work comes alive or maybe even participate in the process at demonstration sites. This could be your chance to own a piece of local history. Demonstrating artist, Jeffery Matter, will be turning wood vessels with rescued wood from 3,500-year-old “Senator” tree. Entry is free.
