St Pete is one of my favorite day trips from Orlando. My wife and I go usually 10 times a year. I’ve done all you have said and would include 1) Beach Drive which overlooks the bay. Great restaurants & drinking day & night. The Canopy is a fav. 2) Central Ave. from the Morean Arts Center to downtown are some nice boutiques and great eating. 3) Sunken Gardens is a tropical paradise. Always stop in. Being a member at Leu Gardens allows me free visitation here. 4) Florida Orange Groves Winery. Great fruit wines. Wonderful concept. Tastings & tour of the facility. If you meet the owner, you’ll really love it. 5) John’s Pass. More shopping & eating. Awesome brewery & Cuban coffee/cigar shop. 6)The 2nd Saturday Art Walk. This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend if you are an art lover. 7)The Dali museum. Inspirational.
I love Tarpon Springs, but it isn’t a place to visit in the same day as St Pete. It’s an hour drive and no fast way to get there. Large is a far north to visit with all of the beautiful things to do in St. Petersburg.
Thanks for the list.
