Whether you are of Greek descent or simply love celebrating Greek culture, the place to be this weekend is Greek Fest Orlando 2024.
This FREE three-day festival is at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Greater Orlando (1217 Trinity Woods Lane, Maitland, FL 32751) Friday, November 1, through Sunday, November 3.
The hours for the event are 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Entertainment
The family-friendly event includes live music from the band Aegean Duo, traditional Hellenic Greek dancing from members of Holy Trinity’s Greek Dance program, artisan vendors selling jewelry and traditional crafts, and other lively entertainment.
You can also participate in tours of their beautiful church and learn about Greek Orthodox iconography.
Be sure to treat yourself to traditional Greek food like moussaka, pastitsio, Grecian lamb shanks, spanikopita, and so much more. Plus, don’t forget dessert – the baklava and other delicious pastries are not to be missed!
Parking
Parking is available in the church parking lot for $10, but is very limited.
Instead, park at one of two offsite parking lots (LOT A at Hope Rd. and Wymore Rd. and LOT B at Sandspur Rd. and Wymore Rd.) A FREE air conditioned shuttle will take you from the parking lot to the church.
