What to Expect

This free workshop offers art and seasonal cheer, as participants work with clay to create winter-inspired masterpieces. Guided by skilled instructors, you’ll learn how to shape and mold clay into beautiful wintery landscapes and decorations. Children will hand-build their very own mini winter wonderlands with clay, twigs, pinecones, seaglass, seashells and other tiny treasures from the museum garden.

There will be other surprises too, like a winter-themed scavenger hunt, snowy craft stations, face painting, and free admission to three museums. The family art workshop is recommended for children ages 4 and over, but children under 4 can participate with parental help.
