The Orlando Urban Film Festival is August 29-31, with a weekly full of screenings, music, workshops, talks and more.
The goal of the festival, celebrating its 11th anniversary, is to help filmmakers and music producers find audiences for their work. This year’s festival honors Glynn Turman, who has had a long career as an actor, director, writer and producer.
The festival also will include “Tiger Run: The Untold Story,” starring Deion Sanders and the Jackson State Tigers Football Team.
The festival begins at noon Thursday, August 29, with short films and documentaries, followed by the opening night reception. Find the full schedule here.
