Water cup, please? Chipotle is turning one of soccer’s newest matchday traditions into a $1 million burrito giveaway inspired by the long-running social conversation surrounding the restaurant’s iconic water cups.
It’s widely known that many customers “accidentally” fill the water cups with lemonade. Oops!

During the international tournament final, fans can participate in a Chipotle “Water” Break for a chance to unlock a FREE entrée.
FREE Entrée Giveaway
Here’s how it works:
On July 19, 2026, when play pauses for the match’s second official hydration break, Chipotle will share a video from its Instagram account challenging viewers to follow a lemonade-filled cup as three identical Chipotle water cups shuffle across the screen.
At the end of the video, the lemonade-filled cup will reveal a text-to-win code. The first 100,000 fans to text the code to 888-222 will receive a FREE entrée.
If you’re lucky enough to snag one of the FREE entrées, the reward expires July 24, 2026.
Summer of Extras
Chipotle’s continues its popular Summer of Extras challenge in July. And there’s still time to complete the milestones for July!
Participants of the program enjoy bonus points, exclusive offers and FREE entrées.
The summer program runs through Aug. 31, 2026.
