The Orange County Library’s calendar is always packed with FREE events. The library really is a cool place to be!
The library branches have free classes for all ages, free story times for children, free concerts, free readings by authors and much, much more.

Some of the events listed below require registration in advance with an OCLS card and space may be limited. Events may require a small fee if you do not have an OCLS card. If you have any questions, contact the library at 407-835-7323 or visit the Orange County Library site.

Events for Kids and Families
Offsite Storytime at Leu Gardens: Meet the Book Bike!
Harry P. Leu Gardens
Date: Monday, March 3
Time: 10:00 to 10:15 a.m.
- Storytime for babies from birth to 18 months. Orange County residents are invited to stop by the library’s book bike to register for cards and check out items between 10:00 and 11:30 a.m.
LEGO WEDO Free Building Hour
Winter Garden Branch
Date: Thursday, March 6
Time: 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
- Build and program LEGO projects with a simple to use computer interface. Learn how technology plays an active role in our everyday life. Age Requirement is 6 to 12. Out of District Fee: $10
Cuisine Corner Junior: Julia Child
Alafaya Branch
Date: Wednesday, March 12
Time: 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
- Learn about chef Julia Child and make some snacks inspired by her French recipes! Recommended for ages 6-12. Registration for each child required.
General Events

English Conversation Hour
Washington Park Branch
Date: Tuesday, March 04
Time: 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
- A series of workshops in which students can practice their English speaking and listening skills. Recommended for those with a basic understanding of English.
Yoga for Adults and Seniors
North Orange Branch
Date: Thursday, March 13
Time: 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
- Experience a yoga class designed for adults and seniors from beginners to experts, young or old, flexible or non-flexible. Attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably and bring their own mat.
- Join Michelle from Soul-Ga Yoga for this restorative session to improve patience, increase relaxation, create awareness along with many other positive life enhancements. You will learn breathing techniques designed to ease stress as well as deep stretching movements to release all tensions. All levels welcome. Designed for adults and seniors.
Book to Film Series: The Three Muskateers
Orlando Public Library
Date: Friday, March 28
Time: 2:00 to 3:50 p.m.
- This series focuses on books that have been made into movies. Watch The Three Musketeers (2011) (PG-13).
