Fix It Don't Pitch It: OCLS Community Repair Event
Orange County Library System is holding a free community event that arranges volunteers to repair items, helping residents to extend the life of their belongings. This event encourages participants to consume fewer resources and help reduce landfill waste.
Event Details
When: Saturday, September 26, 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Where: Marks Street Senior Recreation Complex 99 E Marks St, Orlando, FL
Admission: Free. Please register in advance at this link.
Check-in tables will be located in the Ballroom. All participants are required to check in.
Due to the popularity of this event, guests are limited to two items each. Volunteers will be on hand to diagnose and fix the following items:
- Electronics
- Bikes - bring replacement parts with you
- Clothes
- General Household Items
Please note, flat screen TV's, cell phones and jewelry will NOT be accepted at this event.
