Public parks, schools and libraries in Central Florida are among the places featured in a federal program that offers free food for kids and teens during summer.
The free meals are for kids 18 and younger. The Summer BreakSpot program is presented by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Florida Department of Agriculture and other partners.
The participating locations in greater Orlando can be found via phone, via text or online. Some participating venues serve breakfast. Others serve lunch. Some serve both. For most of the venues, no registration is required
You can find locations providing the breakfasts, lunches and snacks online, by text, or by phone.
- Search on the website.
- text FOOD or COMIDA to 304-304.
- dial 2-1-1 on your phone.
The Orange County Public Schools website lists both hot and cold menus for the summer.
