Getdown Downtown free street parties in Maitland

The City of Maitland's Getdown Downtown Street Party is back for the season.

Taking place on the first Friday of each month, this neighborhood block party transforms Independence Square into a vibrant festival zone from 6 to 9 p.m. Admission is free.

What to Expect

Live Bands: Every month brings a premier Central Florida musical act to the main stage.
Free Kids' and Adult Activities: Regular rotations include a bounce house, interactive games on the lawn, features like virtual golf or surfing simulators, and a dedicated kids' zone.
Local Food and Drink Vendors: Stroll along Independence Lane to grab a bite from visiting food trucks, browse rows of artisan craft pop-ups, or grab a drink from local mainstays like Parea Greek Taverna and Brewlando Brewing.
