- FREE entry to U.S. National Parks on Veterans Day.
- Harry P. Leu Gardens is offering FREE admission on Thursday, November 11 for all veterans and current military.
- The Central Florida Zoo: FREE admission for active and retired military members with a paid single-day admission.
- Orlando Science Center: November 1 – 14, veterans and active military personnel with military ID will receive FREE admission and their attending family members will receive 50% off admission.
- The Wheel at ICON Park: Active and retired military members can hop aboard The Wheel for FREE November 11 – 14. Plus, bring up to four guests and they’ll save 50% on admission as well.
- The 400-foot observation wheel will be lit up in the pattern of the American Flag, all weekend, with its 64,000 LED lights glowing in red, white and blue.
- SeaWorld Orlando: Military veterans and active duty military can receive discounts through the Waves of Honor program. You must get the tickets through the Waves of Honor site – this offer is not available at the gate.
- Gatorland is offering FREE admission the entire month of November for all veterans, active and retired military personnel with ID presented at the admission gate. They are also extending 20% off for up to four family members.
- Discounted Gatorland and Screamin’ Gator Zip Line tickets are available for purchase at your local Info Tickets & Tours (ITT) office on base.
- Crayola Experience implemented the True Blue Heroes Annual Pass Program that offers active, retired and veteran military personnel, law enforcement, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians a FREE Bronze level annual pass.
- Passholders also receive perks such as discounts on admission tickets for friends and family and 20% off food.

All veterans that have served in any military campaign or branch in honor of our nation’s freedom are invited to attend for our community to pay tribute to their dedicated service to our country. This celebration will be held safely outdoors with seats socially-distanced for attendees.
- At 9:30 a.m., the public is invited to visit with organizations that offer resources specifically for veteran needs as the VFW Post 2093 Community Band entertains guests.
- At 10 a.m., the official program will begin with musical tributes, anecdotal speakers including guest speaker Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Tommie Maldonado, U.S. Army Retired, and recognition of veterans according to the various military branches served.

City of Orlando Veterans Day Parade

This year’s parade will open with a tribute to those who have fought for our country and defended our freedom, led by Mayor Dyer and local veterans. The parade’s theme is “Remembering September 11” in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

Applebee’s: For 14 years, Applebee’s has served more than 10 million meals in honor of our nation’s heroes. Hooters: All active-duty and retired military will receive a FREE entrée from a select menu at Hooters on Veterans Day with the purchase of a beverage. Vets can choose from the following dishes: Buffalo Chicken Salad, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Hooters Burger or 10-Piece Boneless Wings.
Little Caesars: Veterans and active military get a FREE Lunch Combo at Little Caesars, which includes a 4-slice DEEP!DEEP! Dish pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi product. The offer is available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt: All veterans receive their first 6 ounces of frozen yogurt and toppings for FREE on Veterans Day at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt. If vets swirl more than 6 ounces, they can just pay the difference.
On The Border: Veterans can spice up Nov. 11 at On The Border. The Mexican restaurant is serving them a FREE Pick 2 Combo meal on Veterans Day.
Pollo Tropical: All active duty and veteran military with valid ID can enjoy a complimentary Pollo Tropical quarter chicken platter with two sides on Veterans Day, all day.
Red Lobster: In honor of Veterans Day, Red Lobster is offering a FREE appetizer or dessert from a select menu to veterans, active duty military and reservists. Customers only need to show a valid military ID or proof of service to enjoy the offer.
Red Robin: Veterans and active military can take a bite of an American classic at Red Robin. The family-friendly restaurant is offering a FREE Red’s Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries from Nov. 1 to 14. Veterans must also be a member of Red Robin Royalty. Military status must have been confirmed by Nov. 1.
Romano’s Macaroni Grill: Veterans and active military can grab a fork and dig in to a big bowl of gratitude at Romano’s Macaroni Grill on Veterans Day. The Italian restaurant is serving a FREE full-size order of Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs + Spaghetti.
Shoney’s: Vets can start their day with a buffet on Nov. 11 at Shoney’s. Veterans and active duty military enjoy a FREE all-you-care-to-eat Breakfast Bar at the family-friendly diner on Veterans Day. The offer is only available from opening to 11 a.m. (Most locations open at 8 a.m. However, hours vary by location.)

Target: In honor of Veterans Day, from Oct. 31 to Nov. 13, Target is offering all U.S. active-duty military personnel, veterans and their families 10% off two separate purchases.
