Retro drive-in movie theaters are making a comeback — and for good reason. Watching a movie at an open-air cinema is a safe and affordable way for your family to enjoy a fun night out…while staying in your own bubble (or car). We’ve found a couple Drive-in movie theaters near Orlando for you to check out.
Chances are, it’s been awhile since you’ve been to a drive-in movie. Here are some tips:
- Plan to arrive well before the scheduled show time to pick the best parking spot
- If you don’t want to sit in your car, bring your own chairs and radio to set up in front of your vehicle
- Consider purchasing refreshments. It’s the movie theater’s bread (popcorn) and butter
- No diesel engines during the movie
- No grills or open flames
- Don’t save a spot or take up parking spots with chairs
- Large vehicles should park in the back so the smaller cars can have a view of the screen
