Celebrating its 17th season in Orlando, ICE! is returning to Gaylord Palms for another year of frozen fun, Nov. 25, 2019 – Jan. 5, 2020. The annual holiday attraction features two million pounds of ice hand-carved into elaborate, interactive sculptures and slides.

General admission
When purchased advance and online, Gaylord Palms ICE tickets start at $14.99 child/$28.99 adult. (plus taxes and fees). 3 and under are free.
Included in your general admission ticket:
- Colorful, life-sized ice sculptures and five two-story ice slides
- Hand-carved scenes from the heart-warming holiday movie, The Polar Express
- The Frostbite Factory – a live ice carving zone with artisans from Harbin, China.

POLAR EXPRESS AT GAYLORD PALMS ICE!
A Christmas classic, Warner Bros.’ “The Polar Express” arrives at Gaylord Palms as an all-new theme for ICE!. As guests enter the attraction, they will embark on a magical adventure to the North Pole, while learning about friendship, bravery and the true spirit of Christmas.
A truly heart-warming tale, “The Polar Express” will come alive for guests in a world made from more than two million pounds of ice, hand-carved into sculptures and interactive features to recreate iconic scenes from the film.
Know before you go:
- You don’t have to be a guest of the resort to visit.
- Dress appropriately. It’s a chilly 9 degrees!
- Make sure you look up all of the additional activities (ice slide, gingerbread decorating, etc.) that cost extra so you can be prepared.
- Parking: $24 self-parking, $34 valet.
- Plan to stay all day and into the evening to make the expense worth it. There are plenty of free activities you can enjoy throughout the resort.

6 FREE THINGS TO DO AT GAYLORD PALMS
Another way to save at Gaylord Palms ICE is to explore all of the complimentary activities. Though many of the special attractions require tickets, there are several free things to do a Gaylord Palms during ICE:
Cirque Dreams Unwrapped: a 25-minute, action-packed experience featuring soaring acrobatics, theatricality and imagination that will have guests on the edge of their seats. Cirque Dreams Unwrapped features new acts and performers each year to bring to life a magical and timeless Christmas wonderland, all imagined by Broadway director and renowned Cirque Dreams founder Neil Goldberg.
Christmas Tree Trail: Guests exploring the meandering paths inside the resort’s Everglades atrium will find the Christmas Tree Trail, a display of nine magnificent trees provided by Balsam Hill. Sparkle the Elf, Santa’s chief Christmas Tree Decorator, has personally prepared these for grand display at Gaylord Palms. From snowmen and candy canes to reindeer and nutcrackers, each tree represents one of Sparkle’s favorite things about Christmas, with one even honoring the Florida-themed resort!
Light Show: Gaylord Palms’ St. Augustine atrium will be home to an all-new, dazzling light show for the 2019 season. The multi-sensory experience will feature a new musical score accompanied with millions of dancing, choreographed lights all around the resort’s six-story Christmas tree during nightly shows.
Reindeer Express Post Office: The immersive, interactive Reindeer Express Post Office returns this year, where everyone is invited to jot down their top Christmas wishes on a postcard before entering this special facility to launch their wishes off on a journey to Santa.
Sounds of the Season Concert Series will return to fill the atrium with the joyful music of the season.
Explore the Resort: All ages enjoy wandering the 4.5 acres of indoor gardens found inside Gaylord Palms Resort, but during the Christmas season, there is even more to discover with unique and fun photo opportunities that are totally Christmas card-worth! Guests can discover native Florida wildlife in each atrium locale that range from Florida’s most famous reptile, the American Alligator, to huge snapper and tarpon in the Key West lagoon.
