Children's Concert - Orlando on the Cheap

The Orange County Library’s calendar is always packed with FREE events. The library really is a cool place to be!

The library branches have free classes for all ages, free story times for children, free concerts, free readings by authors and much, much more.

Here are some upcoming free events at the library.

Musical Traditions Incorporated Children’s Concert. Young musicians from Musical Traditions Incorporated will sing and play a variety of music. The event will include the children’s chorus. The concert is at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 7, at the Orlando Public Library.

DIY Drum Circle. The family program for all ages will help participants create their own tiny drums and then make music together. 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 10, at the Winter Garden Branch library, 805 E. Plant St., Winter Garden FL, 34787. Pre-registration required.

Mexican Danza. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Mexico Danza Orlando will present a program of traditional dances from the Mexican states of Jalisco, Sinaloa and Veracruz. This program will be presented at several branches:

2 p.m. Sunday, September 15, at the Orlando Public Library.
2 p.m. Sunday, September 22, at the Alafaya branch, 12000 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando FL, 32826.
