The Orlando Museum of Art houses many compelling works of art meant to inspire and educate the public. Its location is picturesque too. The beautiful Loch Haven Park is surrounded by huge oak trees, brick roads and many other cultural destinations.
FREE DAYS AND DISCOUNT DAYS
For 2024, the museum’s 100th anniversary, the Orlando Museum of Art has launched Access for All at OMA, which offers free entrance to the museum once every month.
On the third Thursday of the month, admission will be free and museum hours will be extended to be open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The event will feature live performances, educational activities and more. Materials for sketching will be available 5 to 7 p.m. A docent will lead a highlights tour at 7 p.m. As part of this promotion, residents can ride SunRail to the museum free. The SunRail stop is at the AdventHealth Station, a five-minute walk away.
These are the dates for Access for All at OMA:
- July 18, featuring mosaic artist Cheri Bosela.
- August 15, featuring La CinOMAtheque with the Enzian cinema.
- September 19, featuring blues/rock musician Damon Fowler.
- October 17, featuring Musiva Concert Series and La CinOMAtheque with the Enzian cinema
- December 19, featuring the Central Florida Community Arts Big Band.
Free entry the first weekend of the month
You can enjoy free entry to the Orlando Museum of Art the first weekend of every month with the Bank of America and Merrill Lynch’s Museums On Us program. Just show your Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card Saturday or Sunday.
Free entry is only granted to the card holder, not guests. You can also get free entry to at three other museums in Orlando: Mennello Museum of American Art, Orange County Regional History Center, Orlando Science Center.
Blue Star Museum program
Now through Labor Day, the museum is free for active duty military and veterans as well as 5 family members.

Gallery Talk
During the third Thursday of every month at 1:30 p.m., enjoy a free guided tour of the museum. Included in admission price. Through August 15, 2024.

The Orlando Museum of Art transforms into a winter wonderland filled with sparkling trees and stunning décor items curated by Orlando’s finest designers, while filling the museum with wonder and entertainment for families, children and adults alike.
